The MPSSAA Tennis Championships will take place Thursday - Saturday, May 26-28 at the Wilde Lake Tennis Center.  The championship state quarterfinals and semifinals will be hosting on Thursday and Friday with the championship matches on Saturday, May 28th.

Regional Results

  

Region Tournaments

The MPSSAA will conduct eight region tournaments in each of the four classifications.  Based on region entries, the MPSSAA will do a random draw for each region.  Region tournaments shall be completed by May 21, weather permitting.  Each school may enter one team consisting of a boys singles, boys doubles, girls singles, girls doubles, and mixed doubles.    

Championship Schedule - Update

The following championship schedule will be used.  All contests must be played on their designated date unless a graduation or inclement weather occur.  

  • Region Meets - Concluded by May 21 (Regional Sites)  Region Meet Schedule

  • State Quarterfinals and Semifinals - Thursday, May 26 - 9 a.m. (Wilde Lake Tennis Center)  Class 1A and 2A

  • State Quarterfinals and Semifinals - Saturday, May 28 - 9 a.m. (Wilde Lake Tennis Center)  Class 3A and 4A

  • State Championships and Consolations - Saturday, May 28 - 12 p.m. (Wilde Lake Tennis Center)  Class 1A, 2A  

  • State  Semifinals - Saturday, May 28 -  (Wilde Lake Tennis Center)  Class 3A and 4A - As courts become available

  • State Championships and Consolations - Saturday, May 28 (Wilde Lake Tennis Center)  Class 3A, 4A - As courts become available

  • Directions - (from Rt. 29 in Howard County): Off of Rt. 29, take exit 20B towards Columbia/Town Center. Merge onto Little Patuxent Parkway and then take a slight right onto Gov. Warfield Pkwy. Take Gov. Warfield Pkwy. to the 2nd right onto Twin Rivers Road. Follow Twin Rivers Road for 1/2 mile and then take a left onto Lynx Road. Take Lynx Road for almost 2/10 of a mile to a right onto Cross Fox Lane. Club will be on the right (10499 Cross Fox Lane).
