Scholarships of $1,000 to be used toward post-secondary education will be awarded to outstanding senior male and female scholar-athletes attending a MPSSAA member school. For 2019-20, each of the nine Districts that comprise the MPSSAA will have at least one recipient with the remaining selections being "at-large" up to a total of 12-14 recipients. Students with an immediate family member (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) employed by The Allstate Foundation ("Sponsor"), Allstate Insurance Company, any Allstate Insurance agency and persons living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win this scholarship. An eligible minor must have his/her parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter. Void where prohibited by law. Program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applications are no longer being accepted as the deadline for submissions of 12 noon on Friday, April 10th has now passed. To apply, applicants shall have a minimum 3.25 unweighted GPA and have participated in MPSSAA-recognized interscholastic athletics or Allied/Unified/Corollary sports only. Please complete all fields in the application, check the "agree to terms" box, type in the Captcha code, and then click "submit" to automatically email the application to MPSSAA. Male and female winners will be selected and then notified via email following the committee's final selection meeting on Friday, May 1st. Scholarship recipients and their parent/guardians will be honored at a luncheon, if it can be held, on Thursday, May 28th at M&T Bank Stadium in the Ravens Team Locker Room beginning at 12 PM.
