Week Seven Football Standings

     The Week 7 MPSSAA football point standings for the 2014 regular season have been published.  Each week the MPSSAA will update the standings with Week 10 concluding the regular season and the top four teams in each region advancing to the region semi-finals.  Ties will be broken by virtue of the tie-breaker criteria outlined in the current Fall Bulletin.  The MPSSAA will announce the official seeding of the State Football Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 9. State Meets Return To Hereford This Fall

     After a one year hiatus due to school renovation/construction, the State Cross Country Championship meets return to Hereford HS in Parkton for 2014.  The course is somewhat different from previous years.  Check out the links inside for on-course video to aid in familiarizing yourself with the new set-up.  Please note that due to ongoing school renovations, the course is subject to minor changes on meet day from the information provided here.

     After a 15-year run at UMBC, the Boys' and Girls' State Soccer Finals will have a new site this fall.  Loyola University's four year old Ridley Athletic Complex will be welcoming our teams and spectators to their spectacular facility for the State Finals on November 13th - 15th.  Select the link inside to view a site map of the facility.

Plant Box Padding Must Meet ASTM Standards For 2014-15

     Athletic Directors and coaches are reminded that pole vault planting box padding must now meet the ASTM Specification Standards for the upcoming indoor track and spring track and field seasons for 2014-15.  Rule 7-5 was announced in last year's rule changes in order to give schools time to comply with the upcoming change.
