    The Football Finals have punctuated the end of the Fall season as three teams successfully defended their titles in Class 4A with Northwest, Class 3A with Franklin, and Class 1A with Fort Hill. Joining the State Champion ranks for the first time was Frederick Douglass of Prince George's County in Class 2A. Douglass also won the John Cox Tournament Sportsmanship Award.     The MPSSAA Classification Committee met on Thursday, 11/6 and unanimously put forth recommended region and section alignments for the 2015-17 academic years. The recommendations will be presented to the MPSSAA Board of Control at their December meeting for final approval.
