    Qualifiers from all twelve region meets will fine tune their skills as they set their sights on the State Championships early next week at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover.   • 2016 Region Swimming & Diving Meets Hit The Pool 2/11 - 2/13!!

    The winter postseason continues with Diving region meets taking place Thursday, 2/11 and Friday, 2/12 and all eight Swimming regions competing on Saturday, 2/13 at various locations around the state. Swimmers and divers are all aiming for a spot in the State Championships on 2/19 - 2/20.   • Dual Wrestling Region Tourneys Continue On Thursday, 2/11!!

    Five of the Dual Meet region wrestling tournaments are complete while three regions (2A/1A North, 2A/1A East, and 4A/3A East) will be contested on Thursday, 2/11 due to postponements on Wednesday. The semifinal rounds begin at 5:30 PM followed by the region finals at 7:30 PM.   • Spalding Chosen As The New Official State Volleyball!!

    The MPSSAA Executive Council voted at last week's meeting to accept the contract proposal from Spalding as the official state volleyball beginning with the Fall, 2016 season and running through the Fall, 2020 season. The Spalding VB5 ball with red, white, and black panels will be required for region and state tournament play and highly recommended for play throughout the regular season.
