    The 2015 State Finals wrapped up after some hard-fought and well-played matches on the pitch at Loyola University's beautiful Ridley Athletic Complex. Broadneck and Bel Air claimed their first state girls soccer titles in Class 4A and Class 3A respectively, while Fallston (Class 2A) and Sparrows Point (1A) won their fourth and third state crowns.     Goals Achieved For 2015 State Field Hockey Champions!!

    The 2015 State Field Hockey Finals wrapped up Washington College on Saturday on a crisp fall day...ideal hockey weather! Class 2A kicked things off as Hereford posted their 8th state title. Bel Air followed by grabbing their first state title in 38 years and 2nd overall in Class 3A. A state leading 23rd hockey title was hauled in by Class 4A Severna Park while Class 1A Pocomoke attained their 19th crown.     2015 State Cross Country Champions Finish Strong!!

    The 2015 State Cross Country Championships have raced to a successful close today at breezy Hereford HS as a new girls State and Class 4A record was set by Maria Coffin of Annapolis.     MPSSAA Mourns The Passing Of Roy Comer

    The MPSSAA is saddened by the news of the passing of Roy Comer on 11/4. Roy served as the Supervisor of Physical Education and Athletics in the Frederick County Public Schools from 1967-1990. Not only did Roy serve this association as President and Treasurer, he was instrumental in the formation of the first state high school football tournament in Maryland and served fourteen years as our State Football Committee Director.

    Churchill Obliterates Record For Team Score At 2015 State Golf Championships!!

    At the end of tournament play on Monday, 11/2 when the final strokes were all added up and one playoff completed, Winston Churchill HS set a new state record for team score with a 572, 24 strokes better than the old record which they also held!
