2024 Indoor Track and Field State Championships Quick Hits

The 2024 Indoor Track and Field Championships were held on February 20 & 21 at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex.  See below to see team champions and records that were broken at the meets.

 

Boys Team Champions Girls Team Champions
Class 1A - Catoctin Class 1A - Smithsburg
Class 2A - Hereford Class 2A - Hereford
Class 3A - Digital Harbor Class 3A - Northern-Cal
Class 4A - Governor Thomas Johnson Class 4A - Woodlawn

 

  • Consecutive Wins - The Catoctin Boys and Northern-Cal Girls both won their third championship in a row, while the Smithsburg Girls won back-to-back titles.
  • The Woodlawn Girls won their first indoor title.

 

This year's state meets gave way to two broken state records, as well as numerous broken classification records.
