The State Baseball Championships have closed out the 2015-16 school year in fine fashion with highly skilled games demonstrating that total team efforts win ball games.  Bel Air (4A) and Brunswick (1A) both successfully defended last year's titles while La Plata (2A) won for the second time and Huntingtown (3A) won their first ever.  Congratulations also go out to Williamsport HS for winning the Paul Fahrner Sportsmanship Award.  Well done!  Click on the links below for complete brackets for each classification and State Semifinal and Final results.

Our thanks go to everyone that helped to make this year's tournament a resounding success, including the four state semifinal sites, the Athletic Department at the University of Maryland - College Park for the use of Shipley Field for the 4A Finals, and the staff at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium for the use of their beautiful facility for the remaining three finals.  Many State Committee members, led by Director Jason Woodward, and other volunteers unselfishly gave their valuable time during the season as well as the tournament to ensure a memorable event for the participants and we greatly appreciate it.  Enjoy your summer and we'll see you next year!
