Three scholarships are available through The LPGA Foundation for female high school seniors planning on attending an accredited college or university and they are: The Marilynn Smith Scholarship, The Dinah Shore Scholarship and The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship.
The Marilynn Smith Scholarship will award two scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each to young ladies who will be playing intercollegiate golf at an accredited university in the U.S.; The Dinah Shore, one scholarship in the amount of $5,000 will be presented to a female that plays high school golf and plans to attend college but NOT play golf intercollegiately; and The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship will award one scholarship in the amount of $1,250. The Phyllis G. Meekins scholarship is need-based and will be awarded to a young woman from a recognized minority who intends to be a full-time college student playing intercollegiate golf within the U.S.
