Boys' State Soccer Champions Reign At UMBC

     The Boys' Soccer season came to a close as the final state championship game was played on Saturday evening at UMBC's Retriever Stadium. Congratulations to this year's champions for prevailing in what turned out to be a hard-fought tests of physical skills and self-discipline against very challenging and talented opponents.  

     The results for the Boys' Soccer State Finals are:

           Thursday, November 13th -- Class 3A: Tuscarora defeated Fallston, 2-1 (PK's 4-2)
           Friday, November 14th -- Class 1A: Pocomoke defeated Boonsboro, 3-1 
           Saturday, November 15th -- Class 2A: J.M. Bennett defeated Liberty, 1-0 (PK's 5-3)

                     ​;                         ​;       -- Class 4A: Bowie defeated Perry Hall, 2-1

     The MPSSAA also extends a sincere "THANK YOU" to the many who unselfishly volunteer their time and effort as members of the State Tournament Committee and as Region Tournament Directors.  This event could not have happened without you!
