2010 MPSSAA Football Regular Season Final Points Standings - Week 1
The MPSSAA football standings for all games as of September 7, 2010 are now available.  Each week the MPSSAA will update the standings with Week 10 concluding the MPSSAA football regular season and the top-four teams in each region advancing to the regional tournaments.  Ties will be broken based on the tie-breaking criteria found in the football bulletin.  The MPSSAA will announce the seeding of the football state tournament on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010.

First Leadership Conference Gets High Marks
     The MPSSAA's first statewide Student-Athlete Leadership Conference came to a rousing conclusion on Tuesday, August 10th at Oakland Mills HS in Howard County. Attendees made new friends from across the state and learned how to be a true leader on their teams, in their schools, and in their communities.  Click on the links inside of the story for photos of the day.

Maryland Contingent Attends National Student Leadership Conference
Maryland Contingent Attends National Student Leadership Conference
     For the second consecutive summer, the MPSSAA is sending student-athlete delegates from around the state to participate in the NFHS National Student Leadership Conference in Indianapolis from July 15th-18th. Students will attend workshops, assist in a community service project, and develop action plans for the MPSSAA and their respective schools.
