The sun has set on another golf season as the final scores for this year's State tournament were tallied at the University of Maryland-College Park Golf Course. Click on the links below for complete final results.
Whitman's Graham Hutchinson posted a 2-day score of 141 for the Boys' Individual title while Delaney Shah of Wootton carded a 148 for both days for the Girls' Individual title. Hutchinson edged runner-up Dylan Rotter of Churchill by 4 strokes and Shah had the same margin of victory over 2nd place Jordan McKelvin of Westminster. On the team side of the ledger, Churchill won their 12th state title overall and first since 2008 in Class 4A/3A with a 2-day team score of 603, 10 strokes better than runner-up Wootton. Marriotts Ridge successfully defended their Class 2A/1A title for the third year in a row topping runner-up South Carroll, 631-686.
